It’s Armed Forces Day, so we want to stop and say thank you to all of those who are serving our country. We recognize the sacrifices both you and your family make for our freedom. Thank you to all of those who are part of the Air Force, Army, and the Navy. 

How To Celebrate Armed Forces Day

If you want to do something special to commemorate all of our armed forces, you can plan your own picnic or party to celebrate the armed forces in your life. If you want to go bigger, join the Rowan County Veterans Council for their Armed Forces Day celebration. This Saturday, May 16th at 10:00 Am there will be a ceremony commemorating all of our armed forces. The celebration will take place at the Patriots Flag Concourse at City Park.
